Cutting it way close to the deadline and hoping they won't be too strict (or maybe even mean postmarked, rather than delivery date) but stuck my small addition to Postcards From the Edge in the mail today. Nothing much, just a small cyanotype cut down to postcard size of 4x6 inches. I hope someone likes it enough to take it home with them.
Thanks to bobbi for the spreading the word about this project.

It's been way too long since I swung by Conscientious. It has a wide variety of photo sites reviewed with intelligent and thoughtful commentary. Joerg's own portfolio is well worth a look, as are the many photo sites in a long and impressive link list.
Thanks to [BotzBlog] for the link to Conscientious.

On the way home from work, I stopped off at a place I haven't visited in way too long. It was a short stop at the B and O Railroad Museum to meet with the director of collections and deliver a hard copy of the
shot I took way back in February of the snow blowing across the roundhouse dome and train yard just hours before the roundhouse roof collapsed.
The museum's still closed and repairs are progressing. They just got some bad news about the upper portion of the roof, which did not collapse but will require extensive repairs to bring it into conformance with modern building codes. It's an unexpected hit on their finances, just as the insurance money is running out. If you love trains and their history and want to be part of keeping the Iron Horse alive, please make a contribution to the Roundhouse Restoration Fund.

Despite the torrential downpour this morning, the Art Center was open early enough to let me grab the lith prints I was playing with Saturday morning.
