The crazy season has come back at work, with long hours and little time or energy after for making images. I'll grasp at almost anything to brighten a long week, including an Onion article:
Seminal School Photographer Dies At 92
There are still a few bright spots on the weekends, despite spending part of them at work. I've managed to slip into the darkroom to make several enlarged negatives and hope to find the time for making new prints in cyano, Van Dyke and gum bichromate in the coming weeks.
One more session in the wood nymph series is scheduled for Sunday morning. I'll be shooting with a new model, Andrea, out at Kilgore Falls. It's her first time modeling but I'm betting any problems with inexperience will be offset by her enthusiasm. We've been talking about doing a shoot for a few months now, and circumstances have finally worked out to let us get out and play. Weather forecast looks like a go at this time, with warm temperatures and sun through most of the day.
