It was a struggle pulling anything resembling a photo from the rolls of IR film shot in deep shade on a cloudy day but the six hours in the darkroom was worth it for the half dozen or so prints I salvaged.
A few thumbnails for your viewing pleasure, with a few more available on my photo site.

What an absolute slug.
A whole week at the ocean, way too many cameras, way too much film, and all I did was collapse in a comfy beach chair and divide my attention between watching dolphins play in the waves and reading escapist fiction. I did manage to bestir myself enough to run through a roll of film in the Brownie camera, just to see if it still worked, but the closest I came to doing anything photographic was a few seashell and sand cyanotype photograms. Still in beach mode a bit, too disorganized to scan them or even upload any of the few digital snapshots.
Playing catchup with e-mail, listservs, forums, blogs, etc., all the detritus of a full week unplugged. Trying to touch base with some models to get back into the nymph/sprite series and may be spending some darkroom time this week to salvage a few prints from the
Gunpowder shoot two weeks ago.
But for the moment...
It's Monday and I'm back at work.Posted by coldmarble @ 10:05 AM ET [Link] [blab]
