My Archives: March 2004

Marion was kind enough to spend a weekend evening helping me with some more of my silly IR light painting experiments. My biggest problem with printing them was trying to pick which frames to work with in the limited time I had to play in the darkroom. She always comes up with marvelous poses and her enthusiasm and patience with my experimenting makes shooting with her a treat.

Don't worry, Dan, there are more coming soon.

I needed some good news today.

Been feeling low since putting our kitty, Gullet, down last night. It was her time to go and it was the right thing to do and all, but still a heart tugger.

But back to the good news...

The Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Museum has announced the re-opening of the museum is set for November 13th and 14th, 2004. The museum's been closed since last winter because of extensive damage to the beautiful domed roundhouse roof. It has been a long struggle for the museum to raise the funds for restoration of the buildiing and exhibits but it is all coming together soon. They still need to raise an additional 5 megabucks, so any support will be appreciated.

My trains will be back!
