[Previous entry: "normality"] [Main Index] [Next entry: "old place gone"] 10/20/2005 Entry: "new work and old work" Things are slowing down enough at work to allow some meager beginnings of photo play again. I still need to develop the film shot recently with a delightful model but can share one of the digital images in the extended portion of the post... it's not entirely work safe. I'm also starting to get things together for submission of half a dozen lith prints to Tim Rudman's new book, The Worldbook of Lith Printing. Digging through boxes of prints, I managed to uncover a little over a dozen and now must try to pick which ones to submit. I'm also trying to find time in my schedule to set up some shoots. One new model, Cynnamon, and a few ladies who have been kind enough to pose for me in the past. I can see my schedule becoming full right through the winter. Slowly settling into the new place, with a few projects for home improvement/landscaping in the planning stages. First off is construction of a better walk from the driveway to the front porch. That will involve some digging and step building, with a small dry stack stone wall thrown in to hold back the soil. The wall building will be good practice for a larger scale project, the terracing of a steep hill in the backyard. Several stone walls and level terraces with flower beds beats trying to cut grass on a steep slope. Sorry that comments are still turned off. Blame the damn spammers. Your e-mailed notes and thoughts are always appreciated, though.
