[Previous entry: "Quietly busy"] [Main Index] [Next entry: "making inroads on moving"] 05/03/2005 Entry: "Pinhole Day 2005" How busy have I been with home repair? Let me put it this way... In years past, I have managed to shoot, develop and print my photos for Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day (WPPD) in one day. This year it took me over a week, with the film not even being developed until Thursday evening. I did manage four nice van Dyke prints and chose this one to upload to the WPPD 2005 gallery:
Taken with my wooden box 4x5 camera, using Arista EDU 200 film and printed on watercolor paper. Trying to line up some free time for more photoplay and have tentative plans to do a few sessions at the end of May. These will be figure in nature shoots, with possibly some experimentation with shibari, a Japanese ropework style. I'm also researching bodypaint techniques at Steph's request for a shoot later in the summer.
