11/02/2004 Entry: "vote early - vote often"

In honor of the 2004 elections, I will be foregoing my usual Tuesday evening darkroom play and spend the evening watching The Manchurian Candidate.

Actually, November is already shaping up to be quite a busy month.

Lots of darkroom work in the next few weeks, clearing the decks of printing duties and obligations. I desparately need/want to get busy with a lot of enlarged neg production of many shots from the Wood Nymph series.

The Baltimore-DC Large Format group's next meeting at the Fine Print on Sunday the 14th should be fun. A little business, a lot of print sharing ("show and tell" as one friend calls it) and plenty of BIG film photogeek babble.

The event I am really looking forward to is the 3rd Maryland Models and Photographers forum get together. This is a great chance to meet other area models and photogs, see their work, do some short photo sessions and make contacts and arrangements for later work/play together. The last event like this, back in May, was a huge success and a lot of fun. This time, we're meeting and shooting at Cunningham Falls State Park. The waterfall should prove a fine backdrop for some more work in the nymph series, if it isn't too chilly.
