05/21/2004 Entry: "weather complaints"

Sort of a forced day off yesterday, as the school needed employee parking spaces for commencement, and I took today off as well, with hopes of possibly committing photography. The weather hasn't cooperated very much, with a stalled frontal system keeping the skies a dull leaden gray. It's the kind of weather that saps your energy, a cool but humid thickness in the air, urging on naps and general laziness.

I have been trying to make the best of it by keeping busy with printing some alt-process t-shirts for a local hospital's benefit auction. I should also get busy and finish up the printing of the thank you books of small prints for the models who were gracious enough to assist with the light paint project.

Not much luck so far in trying to schedule models for a new series. It looks like it will be some few weeks before I can get seriously started on shooting. The approach of summer weather should help a bit, with hot days making the prospect of wading about in a cool creek sound more appealling.
