11/04/2003 Entry: "LF outing"

Just checked the weather forecast for Saturday's scheduled get together of the Baltimore Large Format Photography Group. It may be a chilly start when we meet at Federal Hill for a little sunrise over the city play but if it doesn't warm up by the time we move over to Fells Point, we can always score some hot coffee at the Daily Grind. It's my first time shooting with the group and I'm looking forward to the opportunity to meet others in the area who are crazed enough to lug around big cameras. If Saturday's as sunny as the forecast promises, I might give infrared another try with that slow Maco film. The city skyline from Federal Hill is perhaps the most overdone photo of the city so it'll take some ingenuity and creativity to come up with something beyond the standard tourist shot.
