07/01/2003 Entry: "infrared pinhole surf portrait"

Some may look at a two minute long exposure as a distinct disadvantage. I kind of like the way it flattens out the rolling waves of the ocean, even when it means I get tossed around by the surf a little bit.

Sort of a surf/self portrait ;-)

Very cool. I love the surreal feeling of the image - it's almost as if you are sitting, floating, on top of the water, and it's set against an incredible sky. Very nice.
