02/20/2003 Entry: "Roundhouse Restoration Fund"

The B and O Railroad Museum has launched a Roundhouse Restoration Fund to manage contributions for the rebuilding of the historic and beautiful domed roundhouse damaged in the heavy snowstorm on Monday February 17, 2003. I know these are tight times for a lot of folks but I hope they can gather the funds needed to bring this spectacular building back to its original condition. The Museum does a wonderful and enthusiastic job in carrying out their mission of preserving and restoring an important part of our heritage.

If you can spare a few bucks to help them out, please make all checks payable to:

My check is in the mail to the B & O Mueseum. Should we call US Senators, Cong,. Delegation, etc to see if support is available for historic restoration? Note the paln to celebrate 175 yrs of Am RR, a second Fair of the IRon Horse @1927, has been planned for June 28 - July 6.
