10/11/2002 Entry: "finally friday"

Despite an unexpected and much enjoyed afternoon off this past Tuesday, this week's still been an asskicker, with promises of more to come. That makes the small stolen moments of finding some beauty on the web so much more of a treat. I may have mentioned this site before, but the pinhole cyanotypes of Diana Hooper Bloomfield are worthy of another visit. I especially like this one, with the transition from deep rich blue to clear whites. The last paragraph in her bio/statement sums up the magic of pinhole photography nicely.
