02/23/2002 Entry: "too early spring"

I'm enjoying this strange early mild weather, not having to bundle up with hat, scarf, gloves, etc. Yeah, a shorts and T-shirt kind of guy, for sure. The bright sun and gentle breeze makes it so nice to get outside and play silly camera stuff. It's much too early for this, though. Big drop in temperature forecast for next week. I hope they make it through okay.

Slight change in the weekend photo fun plans. I may try to get out and play tomorrow but for today... I've had an item on my photo to-do-list for what seems like ages. After seeing some of Patti's examples, bobbi's wonderful emulsion manipulations and finding other galleries of image transfer, I've been promising myself to try my hand at it.

Yesterday, when I stopped at the camera store for some film, I found a treasure in the used equipment section. A Daylab, Jr slide printer. Yes. Going back as soon as they open this morning, so be prepared to be bored with silly transfers soon.
