02/22/2002 Entry: "tgif.. weekend plans"

Made it through another week! TGIF!

Weekend plans are shaping up to include a lot of photo fun... big surprise there, eh? That's about the extent of my plans, though. So much I want to do and try and play with, but so few hours of good light to do it in.

More infrared is looking like a good bet. I managed to remember to pick up some sodium sulfite at the camera store and definitely want to see what effect it has with IR, hoping for better shadow detail and smaller grain. The weather Saturday looks cooperative, sunny and relatively warm, so maybe back to water and rocks for a bit.

I really ought to shoot some more pinhole, too. Been out of practice this winter and need to sharpen up my meager skills for the upcoming Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day. Or is "sharpen" the wrong word to use when talking about pinhole photos? I love the softness, the dream state look of them. Yeah, add that to the to-do-list.

Try some new film? maybe...
I liked the results with Ilford 100 Delta in the Holga. Might be interesting to see what comes about in my 35mm. Good for pinhole?

Enough on the list?

Still need to selenium tone a batch of prints, mount and mat a whole box full, shoot slides of them and get dupes made, contact Lenox Laser about their upcoming competition, fiddle with a few digital files before having them printed at Artography on their Durst Lambda....
nah... I'll save all that for a rainy weekend.
